“Bronde” hair has been popular for a little while now, but describing it to your colorist may have been a challenge. ”Bronde” is a new term used to describe the combination of brown and blonde in a natural, dimensional style. Think Gisele Bundchen, Jennifer Aniston, and Giuliana Rancic.
So how to get it? The technique is called Balayage and is done by “painting select layers on top of the hair with 2 different volumes of color lifting creams.” Not a professional hairstylist? It’s okay, show that sentence and your favorite picture to your colorist. This coloring technique gives darker hair depth and dimension without over-processing or going too drastic.
Bronde hair takes a great stylist to pull off. Make sure you trust yours, a good consultation will always make you feel confident in the colorist you’re going to trust with your hair!
